Bridlington, Driffield and District RSPCA branch is totally independent, self-funding and responsible for all our own business decisions but at the same time we follow national policies and guidelines. Our Committee members meet monthly and are responsible for the decision making. We always welcome new volunteers and you can help in one or more of the following ways .
1) Become a Home Visitor
2) Become a Shop Volunteer Our charity shop is located in Bridlington (see shop page) and is a busy outlet. If you spare 3 hours a week to help and enjoy working with the public this could be the role for you. To volunteer to work on our counter you can either work from 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 4pm.
3) Help at Events
4) Fostering. We are always looking for people who would like a bit of “hands on” with the animals in our care. If you are interested in fostering a pregnant cat, kittens, rabbits or other small animals please contact us. We provide all necessary equipment, food & litter. If you would like to volunteer in any way an application form can be obtained from our Charity Shop 42 Quay Road Bridlington. |

Get help and advice about animals from the national website & if possible and it is safe to do so please take any injured wildlife such as fledglings to a vet as they will be dealt with much quicker. The RSPCA will pay for this.
The nearest available RSPCA Officer may be some distance away which will delay the animal being dealt with.
